Deputy Industry Minister Salem al-Wali and a number of the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission held discussions here on Thursday promoting bilateral relationship and cooperation in the fields of trade, industry and investments.
They discussed the EU facilitations for Yemeni traders and exporters and the possibility of qualifying Yemeni exporters to the EU.
Al-Wali stressed that the political leadership, represented by the country's president His Excellency Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and Prime Minister Moeen Abdulmalik, give priority to working with the international community on the economic side, attracting investments and investors, and boosting economic relations between Yemen and the EU.
