President al-Alimi convenes meeting of government, local authorities

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

Under-Secretary of Foreign Ministry for Political Affiars Dr Mansour Bagash met on Sunday with Charged' Affairs of Chinese embassy in Yemen Gien Hui.

Yemeni-Chinese bilateral ties was key point of the discussions. Latest developments in Yemen were also touched upon.

Bagash expressed Yemeni government's thanks for Chin's support for legality in Yemen; highly appreciating Chinese role in supporting peace efforts and significant contribution to humanitarian efforts in Yemen.
