Yemen has participated in a conference on intellectual security and counterterrorism being sponsored by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Somali government.
Yemen's ambassador to Somalia Fadhl al-Hanaq headed the country's delegation to the event.
Representatives of OIC member states including Islamic scholars and intellectuals among them Somalis addressed the means of setting up plans and textbooks to guard the Muslim communities intellectually against aberrant ideologies.
