Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik deeply appreciated great efforts made by Saudi-Demining Project (MASAM) in Yemen, highly praising KSrelief Center's role in contributing to the relief and humanitarian actions that significantly helped alleviating the Yemeni peoples' suffering as a result of Houthi militia's war and coup.
Ma'een's statement came as he met on Monday in Aden with Director of National Demining Program brigadier Ameen al-Aqeili along with General Director of the Saudi Demining Project (MASAM) Osama al-Qaseibi.
The Prime Minster extended his condolences on the death of several deminers while they were doing their duty.
Brigadier al-Aqeili briefed Dr Ma'een on the activities carried out by the National Demining Program and challenges need to be managed so that it can redouble efforts to pull out the landmines and explosive devices planted by the putschist Houthi militiamen in different Yemeni regions.
For his part, al-Qaseibi touched upon underway efforts have been exerted by MASAM, citing the staggering figures of landmines and explosive devices planted by Houthi rebels and the large numbers that MASAM has already managed to pull out from several Yemeni areas.
