The speaker of the parliament Sultan al-Barakani received by a phone call congratulations from the Head of the EU Delegation to Yemen Antonia Calvo-Puerta on the Yemeni parliament's convention of its first session in years in Sayoon city this month and al-Barakani's election to the speaker position.
Calvo-Puerta emphasized the commitment of the EU to continue cooperation with Yemen and to exert all efforts to end the Yemeni crisis and restore the Yemeni state to the legitimate government.
