Yemeni, UN officials discuss launching Habitat Agenda for Aden

Officials from the Ministry of Public Works and Roads and representatives from the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat), discussed launching the UN Program in Aden to identify and characterize the city of Aden.
They discussed the planned role of the UN Habitat program in Aden which will start with preparing a specialized technical team to carry out a comprehensive inventory of Aden's features including damages left by the war, slums, services and government and residential buildings, in preparation for an integrated technical study on the development requirements in the city, which is presently the temporary capital of Yemen.
The process will be later expanded to neighboring provinces and eventually the rest of Yemen's provinces.
