Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Najeeb al-Awj discussed Friday with the Regional Director of the Middle East of UN Office Project Services BanaKaloti government's efforts in cooperation with World Bank and Commercial Chambers Union for resuming development process and improving economic situation.
On the sidelines of participation in Financing Development Forumheld here, al-Awj valued support of the office to projects in Yemen, stressing coordination with the government regarding projects are being carried out by the office currently.
He confirmed government's support to projects financed by the office in Yemen, calling for speeding up implementing the vital projects associated with basic services.
For her part, the UN official pointed out that the office has completed 40 projects in Yemen, pointing out that there are other 113 projects under implementation include roads, cleaning streets, water projects and solar energy.
