Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed Monday with Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Al-Nafti, developments in Yemen, the continued escalation by the Houthi terrorist militias, with the support of the Iranian regime, and its repercussions on the domestic situation and the security of the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.

MPs, UN envoy discuss parliament's sessions in Sayoon

Parliament Speaker and members of the parliament's presidency and heads of parliamentarian blocs discussed on Wednesday with the United Nations Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths recent developments on holding sessions in Sayoon and issues MPs discussed and decisions they took.

Speaker Sultan al-Barakani confirmed the council's keenness on political and peaceful solution in accordance with the three references; Gulf Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216 for ending suffering of the Yemeni people.

Heads of Parliamentarian blocs confirmed keenness of the government and its institutions on peaceful solution Houthi militia failed it, pointing out that accepting Sweden agreement and making concessions came in response to realize peace and rescue Hodeidi people from Houthi crimes.

They pointed to violence escalation and Houthi crimes since announcing on the agreement.

For his part, the UN envoy expressed his keenness on continuous communications with the Parliament for political solution based on the three references.
