Handicap International organization has announced plan of opening a section for physical therapy at al-Gomhori General Hospital in Aden.
In a meeting between Minister of Public Health and Population Naser Baom and the Head of the organization's mission to Yemen Moon Bilon on Tuesday, the two parties discussed issues associated with health situation and means of enhancing them.
Baom valued efforts of the organization, pointing out that there are 80 persons need artificial limbs and rehabilitation. He called the organization to focus its activities in rehabilitation centers and physical therapy in Aden, Taiz, Mukalla and Mareb as well as training the centers' cadre.
For her part, the organization's head of mission pointed out that they made survey for defining needs at al-Gomhori Hospital, Limb Center and the 22nd of May Hospital, confirming that they will work on meeting them in accordance to their capabilities.
