MASAM removes 993 mines planted by Houthis early week of April

King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Activities Center's Projects for Removing Mines in Yemen (MASAM) has removed 993 mines planted by Houthi rebel militia in a number of provinces during the first week of this April.
In a release issued by MASAM to Saudi News Agency WAS, the project clarified that the demining teamshave been able to remove 27 anti-person mines, 459 anti-vehicles, seven explosives and 500 shells planted by the militia in lands, schools and houses.
Worth to mention MASAM project has removed more than 53,000 mines planted by Houthi militia in lands, schools and houses in Yemen since the beginning of the project mid-2018.
