Cabinet Reviews Current Developments, Enhance State Institutions Readiness
The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani held a meeting on Sunday to review the latest developments following the Iranian violations of Yemen's sovereignty and the measures taken to manage the current phase across its political, military, security, diplomatic, economic, and media dimensions, in coordination with the Presidential Leadership Council.

Cabinet discusses situations development

The Council of Ministers discussed in an extra-ordinary meeting held on Thursday here situations development on local and foreign levels on the light of recent developments within efforts of regaining the state and normalizing conditions and improving services.

Hailing the President's decision of holding the parliament in Sayoon, Prime Minister Ma'eenAbdulmalik acquainted the ministers with measures taken for holding the parliament's session in cooperation with Hadhramout Local Authority.

The cabinet reviewed the financial draft project of the state's budget 2019 presented by Prime Minister and Finance Minister. The project included expenditure, public income and organizing spending.

The council approved referring the project to the Parliament for finalizing constitutional and legal measures for approving it and directed ministries of legal affairs and state for parliament affairs for following up the project.

The council valued announcement of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for allocating additional support Yemeni people estimated at USD 200 million assigned for humanitarian needs and food.

The cabinet also discussed positive changes of reviving the price of the national currency before foreign currencies, which will help improving economic and humanitarian situations.

The council of ministers directed ministry of industry and trade to double efforts of monitoring prices and protect citizens against greed of some merchants.

Prime Minister stressed shouldering responsibility by all and doubling efforts for facing current exceptional challenges facing Yemeni people.
