Deputy Minister of Information Hussein Basalim met on Wednesday here in the temporary capital Aden with the non-resident representative of German Ferderich Ebert Foundation in Yemen Akhim Fogut.
Discussions dealt with the situations of Yemeni media institutions and challenges facing Yemeni journalists and media outlets.
Basalim highlighted the need for training Yemeni journalists to be able to do their job effectively amid conflict.
For his part, Fogut stated that Frederich is willing to contribute to training the Yemeni journalists to help them improving their professional skills and playing their role successfully.
