President al-Alimi convenes meeting of government, local authorities

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held today, Tuesday, a small government meeting included the governors of the government-held governorates, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed Ghaleb.

A presidential committee headed by General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Anakha'ee convened a preliminary meeting Monday in Almaharah governorate brought together governor of Almaharah Sa'eed Bakreit, senior government's officials, local authority, sheikhs, social dignitaries, representatives of political parties and consistencies in the province.

The presidential committee charged addressing a number to issues and troubles in Almaharah.

The session devoted to discuss several issues and challenges need to be addressed in the far-eastern governorate.

The conveners have demonstrated their alignment behind the government and political leadership led by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and their support for Saudi-led Arab Coalition.
