Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najeeb Al-Awj and the Director of Technical Department of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) Eng. Ahmed Osman and a number of AFESD specialists in the have discussed the status of development projects being implemented at the financing of AFESD, including rural roads, sewage and sanitation facilities in different Yemeni provinces.

They addressed the situation of stalled projects, including the Khurmakr-Mansoura road in Aden and the difficulties to resume the completion of the project.

The Minister of Planning asked for Kuwaiti contribution to the financing the project of rehabilitating and developing Aden refinery.
