Minister of Telecommunication announces Teleyemen relocation to Aden

Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Lutfi Ba-Shareef announced the relocation of the headquarters of Yemen International Telecommunications Co (TeleYemen) to the temporary capital Aden. Ba-Shareef presided over a meeting that brought the company's assembly and officials from the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Aden today.
Deputy Industry Minister said the relocation decision was made given the company's status being a sovereignty institution and an economy backbone.
The governor of Aden Ahmed Rubaye'a aid in the meeting the decision was a step in the right direction given the significance of Teleymen in generating revenues for the state budget.
