Deputy Prime Minister Salim Al-Khanbashi has called on the World Food Program to relocate its headquarters from the Houthi-held Sana'a to the temporary capital, the seat of Yemen's internationally recognized government.
In a meeting with the WFP's Director in Yemen on Monday, Al-Khanbashi praised the WFP's efforts in assisting the needy and war affected Yemenis. He also stressed the importance of strengthening partnership between the WFP and civil society organizations and local authorities, which will build the capacity of these community organizations in the humanitarian fields.
