A number of European lawmakers and experts on the Middle East and global security have warned of the danger of European silence for Iran as it destabilizes the region mainly Yemen.
The European People's Party made the warning during a seminar on Yemen's humanitarian situations as a result of the Iranian sponsored insurgency and on the dependence of Iran on the Houthi militia as a proxy to destabilize Yemen and its neighbors in the region.
They pointed to the deterioration of human rights in the areas controlled by Houthis in Yemen and in the country of their sponsor, Iran itself.
