The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi and the UNDP Administrator Achim Steiner discussed the UNDP's support to Yemen.
In a meeting here today, they emphasized the developmental aspect of the UN humanitarian aid projects and the need to strengthen the resilience of government institutions by helping them to recover and resume basic services.
Steiner stressed the keenness of the UNDP to support Yemen in humanitarian and developmental fields through full coordination with the Yemeni government.
