The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemen participates in Regional Conference on Parliamentarians' Role in Countering Terrorism

Republic of Yemen contributed on Thursday to Regional Conference of Middle East and North Africa on Role of Parliamentarians Role in Countering Terrorism.
Yemen's delegation to the gathering held in the Egyptian capital Cairo headed by Member of Parliament Abdurrazaq al-Hajri.
Speaking at the conference's sessions al-Hajari said" Yemen has long been subjected to different forms of terror, today Yemen has been struggling with the terrorist Houthi militia that is closely similar to other terrorist organizations".
Al-Hajri pointed out to the ordeal of those Yemeni parliamentarians who have been bullied by Houthi militiamen, enforced to hold sessions in the headquarters of the militia-controlled parliament.
He also cited systematic violations the Houthi militiamen are committing against civilians on a daily basis in the militia controlled regions including abducting women and assaulting them in unprecedented violation had never occurred throughout Yemen's history.
