The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Info. Minister, Marib governor consider setting up media complex

Minister of information Muammar al-Eryani and the governor of Marib Sultan al-Eradah have considered setting up a special media complex which includes a satellite TV channel named after the host federal region of Saba. The chief of the project's executive committee and of the national Corporation for TV and Radio Eskander al-Asbahi briefed the minister and governor on the design of the project and the prospective content of the channel's message.
Al-Eryani stressed the expedition of the projects given its viability and importance.
The governor stressed that the project especially the channel need to begin where the other TVs left off in terms of production quality. He demonstrated the willingness of Marib's provincial authority to offer all the facilitations to start implementing the project within the preset time frame.
