Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Tuesday with British Ambassador to Yemen Michael Aron.
Discussions focused on the Yemeni-British bilateral ties and latest developments in the Yemeni national arena.
The Vice President voiced appreciation for the UK's support for the legitimate authority and its interest in establishing security, peace and stability in our country.
Conversations also touched upon underway efforts to implement Stockholm's Agreement including understandings about Hodeidah governorate.
General Mohssen reiterated that legitimate leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi is supporting the UN's efforts for peace, taking practical steps to facilitate the implementation of Hodeidah agreement, meanwhile Houthi rebels continue to refuse act seriously for peace.
The Vice President stated that the Yemeni peoples' suffering is increasingly exacerbating due to Houthis' atrocities and violations.
The British Ambassador reiterated his country's support for Yemen, establishing durable peace and implementing Stockholm's Agreement.
