Sixty mosque preachers have learned how to incorporate the education of the public about vaccination and vaccination drives into their sermons.
The branch of the Ministry of Religious Endowments in Marib organized a one-day workshop for the preachers here on Thursday a week ahead of a launching campaign for vaccination against measles.
In a keynote speech Deputy Governor of Marib Ali al-Fatimi emphasized the importance of the preachers' role in raising the health awareness of the public and engaging the general public in making the vaccination drives a success.
