A ministerial committee launched an investigation today into the blast that killed five experts in the premises of the Saudi landmine clearance project (MASAM) on Tuesday.
The committee headed by Deputy Interior Minister Mohammed Abbood visited the premises of MASAM, and examined the site of the explosion and the preliminary inferences the police of Marib had reached.
Abbood said the government's is keen on investigating the explosion and ensuring that it does not happen again.
