Under-Secretary of Foreign Ministry Dr Mansour Bagash met Wednesday with Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dedoshken.
Yemeni-Russian bilateral ties in different fields were a central focus of the discussions.
Bagash briefed Dedoshken on the latest political developments in the Yemeni arena, highly praising Russia's support for underway efforts to establish peace in line with the three well known terms of reference.
The Russian diplomat reiterated his country's support for the legitimate government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and the efforts have been made by the UN Secretary General's envoy Martin Griffiths.
