RIYADH-SABA
President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received here on Tuesday the British ambassador to Yemen Michael Aaron. They discussed the developments in Yemen and the role of the UK in supporting the political process in Yemen.
Hadi affirmed the government's keenness to realize peace despite the Houthi stubbornness and repeated failures to honor peace agreements the latest of which was the Stockholm Agreement regarding Hodeidah city.
"We support the efforts of the UN envoy for peace and we pin hopes on the international community's pressures on the coupist Houthi militia to force them to peace and save Yemeni blood," said Hadi. "We hope that the UK will exercise more pressures on this militia to sue for reason."
