Defense Minister confirms realizing peace in Yemen

Minister of Defense General Lieutenant Mohammad al-Maqdashi has praised efforts of the United Kingdom for supporting Yemen's security, stability, unity and legality.
In his meeting with UK military attaché in Yemen on Sunday, al-Maqdashi confirmed government's keenness on realizing permanent and inclusive peace on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolutions led by Resolution 2216.
He pointed out to the crimes committed by Houthi rebel militia against civilians.
For his part, the UK officer renewed his country's support to Yemen's unity and constitutional legality and stressed significance of reaching to peaceful solution on the three references for realizing peace and ending Houthi coup against the state.
