Yemen's Permanent envoy to the UN Ambassador Abdullah Assa'di met on Fridat with the Undersecretary of the UN Secretary General for Political Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo.
Assa'di detailed DiCarlo on the Yemeni government's efforts aiming to establish sustainable peace based on the three well known terms of reference. He stated that the government is very keen to support the UN Special envoy Martin Griffiths in order to put an end of the conflict and the Yemeni peoples' suffering created by the Houthi militia's coup.
Assa'di also touched upon the government's underway efforts to implement Stockholm's Agreement about the city of Hodeidah, its seaport and seaports of al-Salif and Ras Issa.
He cited the Houthi militiamen's violations of Stockholm's Agreement, particularly violations relating humanitarian and relief efforts.
" The Houthi militia has committed 573 of violation since December 18, 2018 once the cease-fire truce took its effects until 14 January 2019, resulted in killing 41, wounding 396", said Assaid.
