Yemen's Minister of Interior Ahmed al-Maysari and the visiting Turkish Deputy Interior Minister of Interior İsmail Çataklı, have discussed cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of security in terms of expertise exchange and personnel training.

Al-Maysari welcomed the visit of Çataklı and his accompanying delegation and appreciated the role of Turkey in support President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi's government.

The two officials also discussed a number of issues related to the impact of the war triggered by the Houthi militia's coup of September 2014 and to the needed relief aid require to reducethe humanitarian impact of the conflict.
