PM pays inspection visit to Aden Refinery,, urges thorough investigation into blaze incident

Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik paid Sunday an inspection visit to Aden Refinery Headquarters (HQ). He toured the facility sections where he was briefed by the officials in charge about the incident of fire set out on one of the refinery reservoir Friday evening.
Dr Ma'een ordered a thorough investigation into the incident and putting forward a detailed report about the reasons caused the fire so that necessary measures can be taken to prevent such accidental incidents in the future.
The Prime Minister chaired a meeting included Deputy Minister of Oil Dr Sa'eed Ashamasi, Executive Manager of Aden Refinery Mohammed Al-Bakri senior officials of Oil Ministry and Aden Refinery Corporation.
Officials in charge reported to the Prime Minister about overall activity of the refinery, future's plans and challenges need to be addressed and required resources to further increase the facility's total production capacities.
Dr Ma'een stated that government is very interested in developing Aden Refinery given that it is one of the country's most important productive facilities in oil industry.
