Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeeb Al-Aweg met Monday in the interim capital Aden with Head of Political Affairs in the Office of the UN envoy to Yemen Marwan Ali and his accompanying delegation.

Discussions touched upon political situation and obstacles facing the UN team.

Aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Planning and UN's agencies operate in Yemen were also discussed.

Dr Al-Aweg highlighted the need for greater role by the UN in the area of economy and development drive." We're looking forward to see further cooperation by the UN about economy and development", said Al-Aweg.
