The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Shabwa governor directs facilitating issuing passports to citizens

Governor of Shabwa Mohammad bin Adyo has directed the branch of Passports Authority in the province to facilitate granting passports to citizens without delay.
In his visit to the authority on Wednesday, he stressed banning blackmailing citizens or hindering or delaying their procedures
He also directed transferring those who committed such acts to inquiry and directed of forming a committee to monitor the process of granting passports and evaluating the authority's situations.
He praised efforts of keeping the authority's income and transferring it to the Central Bank of Yemen.
The authority issued 28800 passports and collected as much as YR 150 million as income during 2018.
