The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Nabeel Abdu Shamsan sworn in on Wednesday before President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi for being appointed a governor of Taiz governorate.
Following ceremonies President Hadi instructed the newly appointed governor to focus on reinstating basic services, mobilizing community's resources and unifying efforts to enable the province to manage challenges and cope with the consequences of the Houthi militia war and besiege imposed upon the city for years.
The President urged collective action and joining efforts by all political and social constituencies of Taiz to support local resistance and government's troops to get the province cleared of the remains militiamen.
