Minister of Finance, Governor of the Central Bank Discuss Comprehensive Reform Implementation with Arab Monetary Fund

Minister of Finance Marwan Faraj Bin Ghanem and Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmed al-Maabqi discussed Thursday with Dr. Fahad Al-Turki, Director General and Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund implementation of the comprehensive reform program in the economic, financial and monetary sectors.

Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Knag Yong said new year (2019) would be a significant year to achieve permanent and comprehensive peace in Yemen.

In a message of best wishes for Yemeni people in the new year Yong added " We, the Chinese side, do hope sincerely that Sweden's Agreement will be put in place successfully to contribute to a comprehensive settlement".

Concerning to constructive role China played in the Yemeni peace consultations in Sweden the Ambassador said " I contributed to the whole consultations as a representative of Chinese side".

Yong went on saying" I would like to thank all persons who made efforts to contribute to the deliberations' success, they pushed peace process forward, bring hope of peace for the Yemeni people and serve the country's interests".

The Chinese Ambassador stated that he is confident that the Yemeni people will keep on making constant efforts, get rid of difficulties, all obstacles to be managed and peace finally to be achieved. He said that he is ready as Ambassador of China to Yemen to exert joint efforts with every peace loving person.
