Yemen's Ambassador to Cuba Mohammed Nasher met Thursday with Director of Middle East and North Africa Department in Cuban Foreign Ministry Hector Garza.
Discussions touched upon Yemeni-Cuban bilateral ties and cooperation.
Nasher briefed the Hector on the latest developments about UN-led efforts to make peace in Yemen, citing outcomes of Sweden's peace consultations and Agreement.
The Ambassador expressed Yemen's appreciation for Cuba's support for legitimate government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The Cuban official welcomed progress realized in Sweden's consultations, describing that as a good step forward.
