Yemen, China discuss developments, peace efforts

Vice President General Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yong on Wednesday situation developments in Yemen and means of boosting mutual relations between the two friendly countries.

Saleh expressed Yemeni people thanks to China for supporting Yemen's security and stability and efforts of realizing peace in the country.

He acquainted Chinese Ambassador with field developments and process of implementing ceasefire in Hodeida despite continuous violations of Hothi militia, confirming keenness of President Hadi's government on realizing permanent peace based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.

For his part, the Chinese diplomat renewed his country's support to Yemen and its security, stability and unity.
