Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Tuesday with the Sudanese Ambassador to Yemen (Lt Gen) Mohammed Addabi whose tenure in our country has expired.
The Vice President appreciated the Ambassador's efforts, wishing all the best in his future missions, welcoming Ambassador Osamah Hassan Sulman who is assuming post of Sudanese diplomatic mission to our country.
Discussions touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena and Yemeni-Sudanese bilateral ties.
(Lt Gen) Mohssen praised constructive and distinctive Yemeni-Sudanese relations in different fields, deeply appreciating Sudan's supportive stances in supporting legitimate government, Yemen's security and stability, wishing Sudan more security and stability.
The Vice President voiced thanks for Sudanese leadership and government for the significant cooperation and facilities they offered to Yemeni people at this critical stage. He cited Sudan's cooperation in offering easy visa, dealing with Yemeni students as equal as Sudanese, most significantly is that Sudanese troops extending sacrifices in blood and souls alongside their Yemeni comrades in defending the legality within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.
For his part, the Sudanese Ambassador reiterated his country's support for the Yemeni legitimate government and reinstating official authorities.
