VP discusses with army commanders unifying military capabilities

Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed with Minister of Defense General Lieutenant Mohammad al-Maqdashi and Chief of Staff General Abdullah al-Nakhi' on Wednesday military situations and doubling efforts for building the national army and unifying its capabilities.
Saleh was briefed on latest developments of military operations and implementation of ceasefire.
Vice President confirmed that building the national army professionally in one of the prime objectives of the government as military forces are the safeguard of the country and its stability, adding the national army has a great role under these critical conditions- along with Arab Coalition's forces- for defending the Yemeni identity against Iran's vicious agenda.
For their part, the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff confirmed exerting their best efforts for implementing the presidential directives on building the national army.
