In a phone conversation with the UN Secretary General on Thursday, President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi has emphasized his commitment to peace with the Houthii rebels based on the UN resolutions mainly resolution no.2216 (2015), the outcomes of the National Dialogue of 2013-2014 and on the GCC Agreement.

Hadi hailed António Guterres's efforts for pushing Yemen towards peaceful settlement signified by his travel to Stockholm to attend the talks.

Hadi confirmed his support to all what has been agreed thus far including the Confidence Building Measures.

Guterres affirmed the commitment of the UN to the three terms of reference for peaceful settlement so as to bring the suffering of the Yemeni people to an end.
