Yemen participates in the International Islamic Unity Conference

Yemen participated in the International Islamic Unity Conference organized by the Islamic World Association here on Wednesday under the motto of "Islamic Unity; the Dangers of Classifications and Marginalization."

Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmad Attiah chaired the delegation in the conference.

Minister Attiah said the conference aimed to unifying the speeches of scholars and preachers and making their view pointes closers, spreading moderation values, deepening brotherhood and consistence between Muslim people and discarding classification and marginalization.

He pointed out that the status quo requires avoiding partisan, intellectual and sectarian differences and unifying the most agreed Islamic foundations and constants and discarding differences and conflicts splitting unity of Muslims.

He valued efforts exerted by the Saudi King and his crown prince on serving Islamic issues and unifying Muslims.
