The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Governor of Marib meets with CIVIC representatives

Governor of Marib Province Maj. General Sultan Al-Arradah met with the representative of the Center of Civilians amid Conflict (CIVIC) Sadam Al-Adwar and Al-Hossein Sowlan.
The center operates in 17 countries experiencing conflicts including Yemen in the field of training to protect the civilians.
Al-Adwar and Sowlan briefed the governor on the work in progress about preparation to hold training course on International and Humanitarian Law and how to protect civilians during conflict.
The planned training courses are designed for police personnel in Marib province, according to Al-Adwar.
Training course are also said to be carried out in military units headquarters in Marib and within the Third Military Zone.
