Vice President inspects conditions in Five Military Region

Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh made two telephone calls with the Commander of the Five Military Region General Yahya Salah and the Commander of the First Brigade Special Forces General Mohammad al-Hajouri on field developments and Houthi militia escalations coincided with Stockholm talks.

He praised sacrifices of the army and the coalition's forces for regaining the states, realizing peace and ending suffering of the Yemeni people.

He pointed to current talks in Sweden and keenness of the government of President Hadi on realizing permanent peace based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.

The two commanders acquainted the Vice President with a number of issues associated with the region and detailed on Houthi militia's escalation and laying ground mines and sea mines.
