VP urges active judicial role

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Thursday with Head of Specialized Penalty Appeal Department judge Mohammed Qa'ed Homaidan.
The meeting aimed to discuss topics pertaining to Department's mission and role it has been created for.
The Vice President underscored the importance of reinstating judicial authorities and apparatuses. He stated that political leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi is very interested in empowering judicial authority and activating its role.
(Lt Gen) Mohssen urged more active judicial role to help securing the peoples' rights and maintain stability.
Judge Homaidan cited several issues relating to coordination between judicial authority and law enforcement bodies.
