The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Taiz Governor visits National Army's injured in Cairo

Governor of Taiz Dr. Amin Mahmoud paid an inspection visit on Tuesday to injured people from the national army and popular resistance who receive treatment in a number of hospitals here.
Mahmoud met with the members of the Medical Committee and representatives of the injured people and listened to details on their situations and problems and obstacles facing their treatment.
"Taking care of the injured is a national and humanitarian responsibility in the first grade and is not subjected to political plots and the local authority gives special care from its high appreciation to the heroic roles and huge sacrifices made by the martyrs and injured for defending the homeland, its security and stability as well as legality and Arabisizm against Houthi rebel militia and its Iranian agenda," said Mahmoud.
He directed the committee to make continuous reports on the situation of the injured, their demands and problems they face for finding suitable solutions with concerned bodies.
