Deputy Governor of Taiz province Abdulqawe Al-Mikhlafi met Tuesday with a delegation from the Office of the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs.
The visiting delegation headed by the Director of the Office of the Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs Sebastian Teri.
Discussions focused on underway preparations to open office for the Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Taiz.
Conversations also touched upon the difficult humanitarian situations the population of Taiz have been facing under the siege imposed by Houthi militia upon the city for years.
The delegation paid a visit to Al-Gumhory Hospital and toured some quarters in the city.
