Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik received Monday Regional Director of UNICEF in Middle East and North Africa Geert Cappelaere.
Discussions focused on the UNICEF's projects and activities in our country in the fields of health, education, water and environment.
Future's plans aimed to increase the UNICEF's actions and boost partnership with the government were also touched upon.
The Prime Minister voiced appreciation for the UNICEF's role and efforts to provide significant support and services to the Yemeni peoples, particularly at this critical stage.
Dr Abdulmalik promised all necessary help by the government to enable the UNICEF and other international organizations doing their jobs easily and effectively.
For his part, Kaplari appreciated the government cooperation, noting that the UNICEF is planning to increase its activities in the areas of health, education and water.
Cappelaere submitted the UNICEF' nomination of Sara Besolo Naynty as a new representative of the UNICEF to our country.
