Al-Kamal emphasizes coordination of international organizations with government

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Ebtihaj al-Kamal has agreed with the UNICEF to develop a comprehensive strategy for projects and programs implemented by the organization in partnership with her ministry.

In a meeting with the UNICEF Representative in Yemen, Meritxell Relaño, here on Friday, Al-Kamal recounted the arrangements for organizing joint workshops with the UNICEF to define programs on social protection and child protection, safe spaces for children and new cash transfer payments.

She stressed the need to coordinate the efforts of international organizations with the Yemeni government to contribute to meeting the needs of the people and alleviate their suffering.

The UNICEF representative welcomed the coordination of efforts toward implementing the joint programs and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
