Al-Yemany, U.S. Ambassador discuss peace efforts

RIYADH-SABA
Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yemany met Tuesday with American Ambassador to our country Mathew Tuller.

Discussions focused on underway efforts made by the UN envoy to hold a round of new peace consultations in December.

Al-Yemany stated that the government is positively responding to the call by the UN envoy to engage in peace consultations in order to help ending the Yemeni peoples' suffering and stop bloodshed.

He noted that the government's endeavors confronted by the putschist militia's intransigence and its insistence on fighting, refusing to come to peace.

The American diplomat reiterated the American administration's stance in supporting political settlement in Yemen under the three terms of reference.
