Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik received Monday in the temporary capital Aden the delegation of the World Food Program (WFP).
The delegation arrived in Aden headed by the Executive Director of the WFP David Beasley, Deputy Director of Staff Reihan Zahed, Deputy Director Arif Hussein, Regional Director of the WFP Muhanad Hadi and senior speaker Abeer Atifah and Country Director of WFP Steven Anderson.
The Prime Minister expressed thanks for the WFP's significant efforts to contribute to humanitarian actions in our country, mainly to provide food aids to as many as 8 million people in need.
Ma'een stated that the government is going to remove all obstacles facing the international organizations and secure helpful environment for their activities.
For his part, Beasley briefed the Prime Minister on the WFP's activities and its action-plans in the forthcoming period.
Minister of Local Administration, Minister of Education, Governor of Aden and Governor of Central Bank of Yemen were in attendance
