Coordinating humanitarian efforts between Yemen, Turkey discussed

Yemen's Ambassador to Turkey Abdullah al-Sa'adi discussed on Monday with the Head of Disasters and Emergency Agency Dr. Mohammad Gologo political and humanitarian developments in Yemen.

The meeting also tackled coordinating humanitarian efforts for providing support to affected people in Mahra over the tropical storm hit the province last month.

Ambassador al-Sa'adi acquainted the Turkish official with human and material losses, as well as damages in road networks, electricity and telecommunication over the storm in the province announced by the government as disaster area.

The Turkish official expressed readiness of his country for providing humanitarian and relief support for alleviating suffering of their brothers in Yemen.

He confirmed that the agency is about to send a delegation to Yemen for evaluating needs in humanitarian field and meeting with government concerned bodies.
