Environment Minister discusses cooperation with UNICEF, CSOs

The Minister of Water and Environment, Dr. EzziShoreim, discussed with the Director of the UNICEF office in Aden Saif al-Din Namer the interventions set to be implemented jointly in the field of water, environment and environmental sanitation in various provinces next year.

Shoreimstressed the importance of joint coordination in the process of planning and implementing developmental and improvement projects in these fields.

Shoreimpraised the role of the UNICEF in the emergency and development interventions in Al-Mahra province which was recently hit by the cyclonic storm Luban.

He also discussed with the civil society organizations the planned cooperation in implementing programs for the protection of the environment, under the Small Grants project of the United Nations .
